These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Straxiom website and our Trade, Compliance and Intelligence tools (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Using our services
You must be authorised to act on behalf of your organisation to accept these Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide to us and for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials.
2. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Services in violation of applicable law
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's data
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
- Do not use the Services to build a competing product
3. Subscriptions and fees
Access to paid suites is subject to the pricing and payment terms agreed with our sales team or set out in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
4. Intellectual property
Straxiom and its licensors retain all rights, title and interest in and to the Services, including all related intellectual property rights. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos or brand features except as necessary to use the Services as intended.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Services. You grant us a licence to host, process and display that data as necessary to provide the Services to you, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimers
The Services are provided for informational and workflow purposes and do not constitute tax, legal or financial advice. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and for your organisation's compliance obligations. The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Straxiom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Services.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Services, or cancel a paid subscription, at any time in accordance with your order form or account settings.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
